Investor reporting for asset-backed securities
Structured transactions servicing
The market for structured transactions is growing rapidly. Although initially the objective was to reduce regulatory capital, the focus is now shifting towards risk transfer, funding, and economic capital management.
Investors have changed their priorities: they now seek diversification and exposure to risks from previously inaccessible product classes. But consistent reporting, and the quality of information available in respect of assets, are increasingly being attached by investors to the role of the servicer.
As issuer or servicer, you must be prepared to meet these challenges.
- Does your technical infrastructure support your servicing processes adequately?
- Have you reduced time-consuming and error-prone manual tasks to a minimum?
- Does your data history allow you to reproduce results on demand and implement performance assessments?
We can provide you with answers to all of these questions - d-fine is your partner for success in all servicing issues.
Put your trust in d-fine's extensive experience and proven credentials in supporting your servicing projects. You will be in good company: to quote but one example, specialists from our Structured Transaction Servicing business line have built and continue to support the HAUS transaction (RMBS and CLN) service platform for Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management.
Investor reporting
In January 2004, the rating agency Fitch published their report on "Post-issuance Reporting Standards" which today are widely accepted as the market standard. Investor reports for over 500 European transactions were rated on a scale of 1 to 5 stars (Fitch IRGrade).
Whereas at the time of the introduction of the Fitch IRGrades, the average valuation had stood at 2.8 stars, this has increased to 3.14 stars by June 2005 - a trend of improvement in which d-fine has played a significant role. For example, we worked directly with Fitch's analysts to analyze Deutsche Bank PWM's HAUS transaction investor reporting system. By implementing the recommended improvements rapidly, we were able to boost all four transactions from originally 2 stars to an unbeatable 5 star rating.
